Description
The mission of this shirt is to raise awareness of the mental health services available through the national 988 phone services.
The 988 service supports US Army Veterans and Active Duty soldiers experiencing a mental health crisis. The high-stress environment of military service can take a significant toll on the mental health of service members, leading to anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and suicidal ideation.
The 988 services are staffed with trained crisis counselors with specialized training in military culture and veterans’ unique mental health challenges. The counselors are equipped to provide various support services, including referrals to mental health professionals, crisis intervention, and follow-up care.
